Came here over the weekend (Sunday) to celebrate a birthday, and we had a group of 6 so it was hard to find a reservation in the area. We decided to drive over to Mr. East and the parking situation was not bad at all. They also had plenty of reservation times so definitely brownie points for that! The restaurant has a good amount of seating and we were able to comfortably sit at a table for 8. We ordered: Thai French Toast Crispy Chicken Fried Rice Tom Yum Omlette Mr. East Salad Chicken Waffle My favorite was the Crispy Chicken Fried Rice - the chicken was super crispy but wasn't dry! The Tom Yum omlette was a close second for me too - good flavor, some of the larger chunks of shrimp were a little dry but still good. The Thai French Toast was good, fluffy..not a ton of Thai tea flavor except for in the sauce, but still a solid choice for those who can't have brunch without carbssss!! Service was SO AMAZING! they switched the music to happy birthday for the entire restaurant so they could surprise my friend with fried banana and ice cream. Seriously...so frickin nice of them. 10/10 would recommend!!

I got together with friends for lunch/brunch here and we made reservations for our party of 7. The place is small located on 5th Street near Folsom. It is best if you park in the Mission Street parking garage as parking can be difficult. The food and service are great. We ordered the Saigon Steak, Tom Yum Soup Noodles, Chicken Fried Rice, Combo Waffle with fruit and eggs, Chicken and Waffle, and I order the Chicken and Waffle with siracha bacon and eggs. The food came out piping hot and we enjoyed our meals! Chicken was moist and tender. My friends also ordered the two of the lychee drinks and enjoyed every sip.

Came here for brunch with a friend on a Sunday noon and didn't have to wait too long to be seated. The interior is small, but there's plenty of seating inside and the decor is very classy with the plants and greenery. It took a few tries to get someone to come take our order. I ordered the Fried Chicken and Pandan Waffle and Ice Butterfly Lychee Fizz. My friend got the Vegan Sandwich. Our food took a while to get to us (around 20 minutes). Fried Chicken and Pandan Waffle: 5/5, I really liked the apple mustard for my chicken, and the homemade syrup was great too. The chicken was crispy yet tender, and the waffle was nice and fluffy. Good portions! Ice Butterfly Lychee Fizz: 5/5, love the touch of the two lychee fruits as a topping. The drink was a beautiful purple color. Definitely a drink on the sweeter side. Vegan Sandwich: 2/5, it was fairly flavorless and didn't really come together as a "sandwich." The hash browns felt like they were heated up from frozen patties, and it felt like it needed a sauce or something to add moisture and flavor to it. The side fruit was good quality. Overall, had a good time catching up with my friend but would order other things on the menu instead of the Vegan Sandwich, which is unfortunate since there are only so many vegan things on the menu in the first place. I would be interested in trying more of the savory things on the menu next time like the Tom Yum Omelette!

Amazing food and amazing drinks. Food came out fast and was delicious. They accidentally forgot to give us our garlic fries, but it was still on our bill so I asked for a refund; They gave us a refund and garlic fries to-go which was a very nice suprise. Would definitely go again.
